Research Projects:
Applying the sociology of politics, culture and knowledge to Israel, in an attempt to understand local responses to global challenges.The transformation of Israeli collective identity and constitutional citizenship since the 1970s.The 1990s` transformation of Israel from a relatively homogenous national traitional/modern state into a more diversified and/or pluralistic modern/post-modern state.Investigation of theocial changes,political trajectories and cultural manifestations related to these processes in various instances, such as collective-memory, sociography, historiography, consumerism and electoral campaigns.
