Abstracts of Current Research:
  • Computation of p-adic height pairings on curves: We describe an algorithm for computing p-adic height pairings on hyperelliptic curves. We follow the definition of the height pairing given by Coleman and Gross. The key ingredients are our algorithm for computing Coleman integrals, our theory of local indices on curves and a method of computing the local height pairing away from p similar to the definition of the canonical height by Tate.
  • The syntomic regulator for K-theory of surfaces: We write a formula for the syntomic regulator of certain elements in the first algebraic K-theory group of an algebraic surface over a p-adic field. The formula involves the use of our theory of tripple indices and the proof uses our work on finite polynomial cohomology
