Superconductivity: Macroscopic quantum coherence in superconductivity, Josephson-like effects due to coherent vortex motion, Vortex dynamics in superconductors, Random processes and noise in superconductors.

Magnetism: Collosal magnetoresistive (CMR) materials, Phase separation in CMR manganites, Spin-sensitive tunelling, CMR in nano-crystals, Noise in CMR materials, local magnetic properties of CMR manganites.

Electro-optics and nanophysics: Current noise in Quantum Well Infrared photodetectors (QWIP), electronic and optical properties of hybrid carbon nanotubes, transport and noise in nanodots linked by organic molecules.
